TV commercials were incepted in the U.S. in 1940 and have been a very popular mode of advertising since. One of the most groundbreaking commercials that changed the way commercials were done, was the first Apple Macintosh commercial. Despite uncertainty of how audiences would receive it, Apple released the commercial. It was instantly famous.
