Binary Code:
module system of code

Binary code is a binary number system

using two-binary digits “0” and “1” which

can be put in simple and complex sequences. Thus, the indivi-

dual modules of “0” and “1” can create an infinite number of

messages. The system of binary was first developed by Indian

scholar Pingala (circa 5th-2ndcen BCE) to create a mathemati-

cal formula to describe prosody. It has served many functions;

its most recent development is the structuring of computer

programming.
