Queen Victoria
Queen Victoria was Queen regnant of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 1837 until her death in 1901. She reigned longer than any other British monarch. The time under her rule is known as the Victorian era, a period of great progress and prosperity in the United Kingdom. The acomplishments of Great Brittain under Victoria's rule were embodied in the Great Exhibition in the Crystal Palace and displayed to the world. The event was arguably her and Albert's proudest moment.
